Bleu De Chanel L’Exclusif unveils its latest campaign film starring Jacob Elordi, directed by Alfonso Cuarón
The actor’s debut campaign continues Chanel’s long-standing cinematic legacy
When Euphoria star Jacob Elordi was announced as the new face of Bleu De Chanel earlier this year, anticipation quickly built around his first official campaign for the house.
Now, that debut has arrived, and it unfolds with cinematic precision under the direction of Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuarón.

The Chase
Titled The Chase, the film places Elordi at the centre of a sleek, suspense-driven narrative. Debonair (and distractingly handsome), he moves through the shadowy streets of Venice, pursued by a masked burglar whose intentions remain as elusive as the night itself.
The tension is stylised, the stakes unmistakably chic: what exactly is worth stealing? The answer, it turns out, is none other than a bottle of Bleu De Chanel L’Exclusif.
L’Exclusif
At the heart of L’Exclusif is a deeper, more opulent expression of Bleu De Chanel’s signature identity. The scent expands on the original’s freshness, drawing it into richer, more enveloping territory.
A woody-amber structure anchors the composition, where smoky woods and resinous warmth intertwine with luminous aromatic notes. The result is less an evolution of brightness and more a descent into depth.
Sophisticated, textured, and deliberately mysterious, the parfum lingers like skin warmed by spice and cedar, softened by a subtle amber that feels both modern and timeless.
Chanel’s Cinematic History
Elordi’s casting feels almost inevitable within this language of refined intensity. His screen presence has long balanced ease with something more enigmatic. A quiet magnetism that translates effortlessly into the world of luxury fragrance.
His appointment follows the footsteps of previous fragrance ambassador Timothée Chalamet, who collaborated with Martin Scorsese on a short film for the fragrance.
Cuarón’s direction heightens this effect, treating the campaign less like a traditional advertisement and more like a short film with its own internal logic and atmosphere. Every frame is deliberate, cinematic, and charged with suggestion rather than explanation.

Much like recent campaigns that have positioned Hollywood talent alongside acclaimed directors, The Chase reinforces the idea of fragrance not just as a product, but as a storytelling medium.
With Elordi at its centre, Bleu De Chanel L’Exclusif finds a face that feels entirely of the moment: polished, enigmatic, and impossible to fully decode.
