Hudson Williams stuns in first-look images from new witchy thriller, Yaga – SEE HERE
Set within the small coastal town, Williams plays Henry Park, the missing heir to a powerful family fishery business

Hudson Williams is swapping hockey sticks for broomsticks as he stuns in first-look images from the new witchy thriller Yaga, following his success in Heated Rivalry.
The series, created by Kat Sandler, reimagines the legend of Baba Yaga as a modern mystery thriller, exploring the question: “What makes a witch?”
Williams plays Henry Park, the missing heir to a powerful family fishery business. His mysterious disappearance sets the main plot of the series in motion.

The Canadian actor stars alongside Noah Reid, who plays Rapp, a private investigator investigating Henry’s disappearance and who finds himself at odds with an uneasy local detective, Carson (Clark Backo).
Carrie-Anne Moss plays Katherine, a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, while Sheila McCarthy stars as Olena Yaha, a mysterious local woman who uncovers the secrets hidden within the small coastal town.
Sandler, who adapted her theatre piece of the same name for television, described the series’ cast as being “Canadian Avengers-level”.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said: “Yaga began as a play with a cast of three in a 200-seat theatre, reimagining the myth of Baba Yaga through a modern lens with a genre mashup of mystery and myth.
“It has since evolved into television as a collision of folklore, fairy tale, noir thriller, police procedural, horror and feminist fantasy, while continuing to ask the question: What makes a witch?”
Sandler called Williams “a serious gentleman” as she shared first-look images with the publication. In one image, the actor can be seen wearing a white shirt with striking blue magical contact lenses. Another shows Williams and Moss with their lips just a breath apart, offering a glimpse into the dynamic between Henry and Katherine.
Who is Baba Yaga? The witch is a prominent figure in Slavic folklore who lives in a hut deep in the forest and possesses magical abilities. In some stories, she is a solitary sorceress; in others, one of three sisters sharing the same name, though her intentions remain unknown.
When is Yaga coming out?
Yaga is set to arrive in the UK on Sky later this year.
