Upcoming Amazon MGM film Tyrant has announced four new cast members, including Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams.

Directed by David Weil, the culinary thriller is set within New York City’s elite fine dining scene, in the vein of Wall Street and Whiplash – exploring the toxicity of becoming the best of the best.

Led by a star-studded cast including Charlize Theron, Julia Garner and Demi Moore, alongside newcomers Paapa Essiedu, Omar Apollo and Nara Smith, production is officially underway.

Who does Hudson William’s play in Tyrant?

The Tyrant cast’s roles have yet to be announced, though based on the film’s description, this ensemble is set to heat up the kitchen.

Williams’s upcoming project follows a string of exciting roles stemming from his breakout performance in Jacob Tierney’s 2025 gay hockey series Heated Rivalry.

The six-part series follows Williams as Shane and his co-star Connor Storrie as Ilya, exploring how their relationship evolves from sporting rivals to off-the-ice lovers.

When is Heated Rivalry season 2 coming out?

The romance, inspired by author Reid’s Game Changers book series, was renewed for a second season in December last year and is set to begin filming in August 2026.

Heated Rivalry series two has been confirmed to stream on Sky and NOW in the UK, with a release set for next spring.

Following the series’s acclaimed success, Williams has been seen working across multiple campaigns, music videos and several upcoming screen projects.

Who stars in Laufey’s ‘Madwoman’ music video?

To name a few, earlier this month Williams starred in Icelandic singer Laufey’s ‘Madwoman’ music video alongside Megan Skiendiel from KATSEYE, Olympian Alysa Liu and The Summer I Turned Pretty star Lola Tung.

Another one to add to your must-watch list is Peloton’s latest ad campaign, featuring Williams sporting a pair of white short shorts dripping with sweat.

The release date for Tyrant has yet to be confirmed.
