The Saturdays have announced the release of a Greatest Hits album and tour – but insist that “this is not the end”.

The pop five-piece’s Greatest Hits album will feature 20 songs including three brand new tracks. It will be released on August 11.

The girlband will then embark on a 12-date UK and Ireland Greatest Hits Live! tour in September, including a date at London’s Wembley Arena.

Band member Frankie Sandford said in a statement: “We can’t wait to get out on the road and showcase our journey so far! This is not the end, just a milestone along the way.”

A press release confirms that the band are planning to return to the studio later this year to start work on their fifth album.
