MR PORTER’s ‘The World’s Best Shoes’ series: Meet model Lucas

This month, MR PORTER have launched their ‘World’s Best Shoes’ series. The World’s Best Shoes features a cultivated and curated selection of 13 categories of shoe from 90 of the world’s luxury designers. MR PORTER’s shoes are going to be available across 170 countries. We asked five models to pick their favourite pair of shoes from a plentiful selection for our exclusive photo shoot and asked them what drew them to the footwear.

First up is Lucas Valerdi who picked the Marsell Brushed-Nusbuck and leather boots. These boots have been designed exclusively for MR PORTER with wrap-around laces, brushed-nubuck and a smooth leather toecap. Lucas explained that he picked this pair because it suits his style as a model and a musician, playing guitar and the harmonica.
