Lily Allen has announced that the next single from her Sheezus album will be URL Badman.

The tack-sharp track’s lyrics mock a persistent problem for the modern popstar – internet trolls.

“Real talk, I’ll put the world to rights,” Allen sings, adopting the persona of one such ‘URL Badman’ . “And when I’m a big boy I’m gonna write for Vice.”

URL Badman will be released on July 13 – around two weeks after the singer performs at Glastonbury Festival on June 27.

Meanwhile, Allen has made her unofficial World Cup song Bass Like Home available as a free download – pick it up here.

Allen released Sheezus, her first album since 2009, last month (May) and saw it debut at Number One on the UK’s Official Albums Chart. URL Badman is the album’s fourth single following Hard Out Here, Air Balloon and Our Time.
