7 standout menswear moments from the 83rd Golden Globes
Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie stole the spotlight in their Golden Globes red carpet debut
Kicking off awards season, last night’s Golden Globes delivered a celebration of film, television, and exceptional menswear. While classic Hollywood tailoring was on the guest list, this year’s red carpet proved that tradition is best when it’s challenged.
From fearless accessorising to modern twists on timeless silhouettes (courtesy of our favourite Heated Rivalry stars), the night’s leading men redefined what dressing for awards season can look like. Here are our eight picks for the very best of the best.
Coleman Domingo

Always dressed to impress, menswear’s perennial risk-taker opted for a classic tux with a twist. The black-on-black ensemble, designed by Alessandro Michele for Valentino, was elevated by silver foliage cascading from his shoulders, adding drama, romance, and a distinctly modern edge to traditional tailoring.
Connor Storrie
Heated Rivalries star Connor Storrie channelled Nouvelle Vague cool in Saint Laurent. A departure from his typically understated style, the look leaned into sharp tailoring and effortless attitude. The real scene-stealer? A perfectly shaggy fringe that instantly sparked serious hair envy.
Hudson Williams

Storrie’s co-star made a striking case of his own for the cummerbund. While the satin sash is often synonymous with overly done-up black-tie affairs, Williams kept things relaxed in Giorgio Armani, pairing it with a satin shirt worn just undone enough to deliver a subtle touch of fan-service.
Jeremy Allen White

While the rest of young Hollywood set out to rewrite the style rules, White delivered a masterclass in precision. Dressed in black velvet Louis Vuitton, he kept things sharp with a skinny tie, finishing with a white calla lily brooch that felt timeless, polished, and quietly confident.
Mark Ronson

Smart suiting wasn’t on Ronson’s agenda at the Golden Globes. Instead, he leaned into Saint Laurent’s couture sportswear. Stepping out in a look from Anthony Vaccarello’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection the vibrant shades of orange were a welcome reprieve from traditional black and navy suiting.
Omar Appolo

Another colour advocate of the evening was Omar Apollo, who shone in royal blue satin. The custom Valentino look delivered pure drama, pairing fluid tailoring with a high-gloss finish – proof that bold colour can command the red carpet with effortless confidence.
Paul mescal

Looking laid-back in black tie is no small feat – unless you’re Paul Mescal. The Best Supporting Actor nominee leaned into Downton Abbey–esque eveningwear, opting for a Gucci stiff-bib shirt. Forgoing a tie entirely, he let the piqué collar do all the talking.
