Teenager assaulted by young boy in homophobic attack

The boy is reportedly around ten to 13 years old

A teenager was subjected to homophobic abuse and assaulted by a young child.

The 18 year old was approached by an unknown boy who shouted homophobic slurs at him while at the Kingsway Local Centre, in Quedgeley, Gloucester.

The offender, who is believed to be aged ten to 13, followed the victim and hit him in his face and in the back of his head, Gloucester Live reported.

Police are now investigating the alleged assault and are looking for the young boy – who is described as black, wearing dark coloured jogging bottoms and riding a bike.

At the time of the assault, he was with another boy who is described as white, the same age and was wearing grey jogging bottoms and had curly blond hair.
