LA County prosecutors reviewing sex crimes case against Kevin Spacey
The actor is facing allegations by numerous men

Los Angeles County prosecutors are reviewing a “sex crimes case” against Kevin Spacey.
The 58-year-old Academy Award winner faced numerous allegations of sexual harassment last year, including from fellow actor Anthony Rapp who first came forward claiming the actor had made a pass at him when he was only 14 years old.
As well as Rapp, Spacey is facing allegations from filmmaker Tony Montana and eight former and current crew members.
And now, NBC News Los Angeles have confirmed prosecutors were presented with the sex crimes case against Spacey – who used the allegations to come out, a move which was widely criticised by the LGBT community.
The case is now under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office’s Sex Crimes Task Force.
Spacey is already under investigation by Scotland Yard for three separate sexual assault allegations.
Back in 2005, Spacey was accused of sexually assaulting a man in South London and another man in Westminster, as well as a third man three years later.
As well, the Old Vic theatre – where the House of Cards star was creative director from 2004 to 2013 – revealed more than 20 people have come forward against the actor during his time there.
They said in a statement: “Despite having the appropriate escalation processes in place, it was claimed that those affected felt unable to raise concerns and that Kevin Spacey operated without sufficient accountability.
“This is clearly unacceptable and the Old Vic truly apologises for not creating an environment or culture where people felt able to speak freely.”
Following the numerous allegations, Spacey was dropped from House of Cards and Sir Ridley Scott’s latest movie All The Money in the World – despite already filming the entire film.
