Sophie Turner has opened up about her personal preferences in the bedroom, speaking candidly about whether she would identify as a top or a bottom.

The Game of Thrones star responded to a fan’s message while making an appearance on Buzzfeed’s Thirst Tweets. It had read: “Sophie Turner can top me.”

In response, the Do Revenge actress joked that she doesn’t see herself as a top, “I don’t think I’m a top. I’d say I’m more of a bottom.”

“I really like that I give top energy” – Sophie Turner on whether her character’s give top or bottom energy

The theme cropped up again when another fan suggested that “every character that Sophie plays just gives top energy”.

“Really? I really like that I give top energy. And that’s why I love acting because it takes you to a place that you’ve never been before,” she replied.

She clarified for readers unfamiliar with the terms that this essentially means she takes on a more submissive role, before confronting whether she has “big dig energy”.

“I love a soul, not a gender” – Turner on her sexuality

“I think I’d be short but quite girthy. I would be like one of those guys that like revs the engine going past, you know, which is small d**k energy but I think it would be fat.”

The 29-year-old admitted she noticed most of the comments were coming from lesbian fans, which she said she was “obsessed” with.

In 2019, she admitted to Rolling Stone to previously experimenting with girls: “Everyone experiments. It’s part of growing up. I love a soul, not a gender.”

Turner seemingly came out as bisexual in 2021 on social media. The actress shared an Instagram story celebrating Pride Month, including stickers reading “Move, I’m Gay” and “Bi Pride,” alongside the caption, “It’s MUTHAF****N pride month babaaaayyyyy.”

“Time ain’t straight and neither am I” – Turner teasing fans about her sexuality

In addition, Turner wrote: “Time ain’t straight and neither am I,” sending fans into speculation.

Her comments come amid her ongoing relationship with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, whom she began dating in October 2023, following her split from Joe Jonas in September 2023 after nearly four years of marriage.

This comes just days after the release of new thriller film Trust, where Turner stars as a Hollywood actress who hides in a remote cabin after a scandal, only to find herself betrayed and fighting for survival against someone she once trusted.
