Pornhub 2025 recapped: Tyler Wu dominates as trans and femboy genres top charts
For the first time, a male performer topped the site's overall most-searched pornstar category too, with Alex Adams taking the number-one spot

Pornhub’s annual review is out and, unsurprisingly, it’s as revealing as ever. LGBTQ+ categories continue to rise… pun fully intended, as lesbian, trans and femboy genres dominate the charts.
On Pornhub Gay, the most-viewed, top performer was Tyler Wu… though usually a bottom, while the most-viewed trans performer was Emma Rose, who has retained her crown since Pornhub released its Transgender Day of Visibility statistics.
For the first time, a male performer topped the site’s overall most-searched pornstar category, with Alex Adams taking the number-one spot, replacing Malik Delgaty from last year. Since his debut in 2012, Adams has appeared in both straight and gay scenes.
Turning to categories, lesbian content became the world’s most-viewed, with “scissoring” cutting above the competition, rising by 79%. It was followed closely by transgender content, which grew by 58%, with sub-categories such as “trans threesome” and “trans amateur” proving especially popular.

Pornhub brand ambassador Natassia Dreams, who is transgender, called the surge in interest a “cultural shift”. She said in a statement: “For the first time, trans-led content is the second most-watched category in the industry. People are finally seeking out stories and performers who break old ideas about gender and sexuality.”
“This growth shows trans creators are finally being seen and celebrated on our own terms. Audiences and the industry are evolving together,” she concluded.
Notably, “femboy” entered the global top 10 searches for the first time and ranked number one on Pornhub Gay, signalling the increasing visibility of the community online.

Top-ranking Pornhub Gay couple account Hunnypaint also commented on the trend, saying: “Defining a femboy, or any identity, is always challenging.”
They described a femboy as “someone who openly expresses femininity in their appearance, style or spirit, while remaining comfortable being recognised as male, regardless of the individual’s gender identity”.
Hunnypaint added that femboy content is not exclusive to gay viewers: “I have a lot of fans who reach out to me saying they’re straight but still love watching my videos. It seems that for many ‘straight’ guys, attraction is more rooted in perceived femininity than gender identity.”
Other LGBTQ+ searches also saw substantial increases, with “queer” up 132%, “bisexual” up 88% and “lesbian MILF” up 102%.
Meanwhile, the “Straight” category fell nine places on Pornhub Gay, while Twink remained the top category, followed by Big Dick and Bareback.
