Madonna has debuted new music from her forthcoming album Confessions II during a private late-night event at The Abbey in Los Angeles.

The singer made a surprise appearance in the early hours of yesterday morning (26 April) at an invite-only party titled Club Confessions Los Angeles, held at the West Hollywood venue.

Madonna arrived at around 1am and joined the DJ booth alongside producer Stuart Price, who worked on both Confessions On A Dancefloor and its upcoming sequel.

Stuart Price played two previously unheard songs reportedly titled ‘Freedom’ and ‘Love Sensation’

Addressing the crowd, she said: “Hello children, mother is here to save you. Are you ready to dance for me? Come on, meet me on the dancefloor. Alright, let’s go gays, come on! Don’t let me down, gays. Gay for the gays! Whoo!”

During the set, Price played Madonna’s recently released track ‘I Feel So Free’, along with two previously unheard songs reportedly titled ‘Freedom’ and ‘Love Sensation’. The pair also played ‘Hung Up’, the 2005 single from Confessions.

Addison Rae joined the stage wearing a Catwoman-style eye mask and helped energise the crowd during ‘I Feel So Free’. DJ sets were also provided by Romy and Mez Monty.

Among attendees were Lily Allen, Bebe Rexha, Cara Delevingne, Tom Daley and Kali Uchis

The event also doubled as a birthday celebration for Tristan Schukraft, owner of the venue. Madonna led guests in a rendition of Happy Birthday and brought him on stage during the celebrations.

Among attendees were Lily Allen, Bebe Rexha, Cara Delevingne, Tom Daley and Kali Uchis.

Confessions II is scheduled for release on 3 July through Warner Records. The album is Madonna’s first studio release since Madame X in 2019 and serves as a sequel to her 2005 Grammy-winning record Confessions On A Dance Floor

Madonna has been teasing the project since 2024, sharing studio updates with Price before officially announcing the record earlier this month. The campaign has also included a recent collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, who brought Madonna on stage during her Coachella set, where they previewed their duet ‘Bring Your Love’.
