Sarah Paulson has revealed she would love to return to American Horror Story but on one condition.

The actress has starred in eight seasons of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology series but in the current ninth season, 1984 – which is set to come to an end next week – the actress said she would not even be making a cameo.

After announcing she is stepping away from the franchise, long-running co-star Evan Peters also revealed he wouldn’t be in the current ninth season, much to the dismay of all AHS fans.

Although this series has seen the return of recurring actors including Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, Billie Lourd and cameos from Lily Rabe and Dylan McDermott, the absences of Paulson and Peters has been greatly missed.

And while speaking to TV Guide at the end of October, Paulson has revealed she would love to return to the franchise but on one condition… Peters also signs up.

She said: “It’s hard to not be a part of it. I would love to [return for Season 10]. I need to be a part of it again.

“I would like to do something with Evan [Peters]. I miss Evan and I miss acting with Evan.

“So I’d love to have that experience again. If he’ll come back, I’m back.”
