By Shaun Kitchener

RuPaul’s Drag Race

favourites Pandora Boxx, Willam, Delta Work and Shangela are set to pay tribute to the Golden Girls in a TV special that can only be amazing.

The queens will host Logo TV’s 30-hour marathon of the series’ best episodes, entitled 30 Isn’t A Drag. They’ll introduce that same number of the comedy’s finest installments over the weekend of September 12 and 13.

Golden Girls ran for seven seasons totaling 180 episodes between 1985 and 1992, and remains an iconic TV comedy. It’s also been frequently referenced at various stages during Drag Race‘s seven-year run.

Shangela will be seen as Sophia (made famous by Estelle Getty)…

…and Willam, of course, is the sharp-tongued Blanche (Rue McClanahan).

White, 93, is the only surviving member of the four main cast members. Arthur passed away in 2009 at age 86, McClanahan died at 76 in 2010 and the world mourned Getty in 2008 at age 84.

As for the queens; Pandora Boxx won Miss Congeniality in the second season of Drag Race, while Shangela competed in both seasons two and three, Delta Work was one of the so-called “Heathers” in the third cycle and Willam was ejected for rule-breaking in season four.
