Madonna sticks the proverbial two fingers up at ageist critics

By Will Stroude

Despite it being painfully clear that Madonna does not care if you think she’s too old to do, well, anything, the haters persist.

But nothing can keep the queen of pop down, and she’s taken to Instagram to prove that age ain’t nothing but a number with some sexy throwbacks, as well as a few more recent – but equally gorgeous- shots, each captioned “acting my age”.

The final snap is a repost of her recent LOVE Magazine covershoot, a makeup-free selfie of the icon sucking her thumb. And she’s got one or two things to say.

“How do I know I’m still acting my age? the 58-year-old wrote. “Because it’s my age and its my life and all of you women hating bigots need to sit down and try to understand why you feel the need to limit me with your fear of what you aren’t familiar with.

“You know what happens to bigots? Nothing! Nothing happens to people who think in a limited way. Facts… bit I forgive you. Because its the month of Slicha.
