Jessie J has admitted that she was becoming “increasingly frustrated” by people defining her by her sexuality.

The Burnin’ Up singer – who has had relationships with both sexes in the past – revealed that her bisexuality was a “phase” earlier this year – read more here.

On her decision to speak about her sexuality, she told the US edition of OK! magazine: “I was getting increasingly frustrated with still feeling like sexuality was defining me as an artist.”

The former Voice UK coach – who recently released her third album Sweet Talker – added that she is enjoying exploring a more “sexual” side of herself with her new music.

“I am enjoying being a 26-year-old sexual woman. It’s not a secret that I’m confident with my body and I like to have fun,” she explained.

Jessie J received an online backlash after describing her bisexuality as a “phase”, prompting her to insist that she never “lied” about her sexuality – read what she had to say here.
