90s pop fans rejoice: All Saints AND The Corrs reuniting

By Nick Bond

As if we needed more proof that the 90s are back, two of the biggest groups of that decade have this week announced comeback plans.
All Saints, the top-selling girl group behind number one hits including Pure Shores, Never Ever and Bootie Call, quietly dropped a video on their official YouTube channel, promising ‘Big things in 2015 and beyond’:

We’re loving that they’re soundtracking their comeback with their undervalued final single to date, 2007’s ace Chick Fit (a top 30 hit in Slovakia, fact fans). Shaznay, Mel, Nicole and Natalie have reformed for various live activities in the past year, but they’ve all been rather below a girl group of their calibre (supporting the Backstreet Boys, anyone?). Let’s hope a fully-fledged chart assault is in the works.

Ireland’s most important rock group (sorry Bono) The Corrs are also getting together later in the year- the Breathless hitmakers will reform for a BBC concert in Hyde Park in September. They’re also rumoured to be working on new music together, which would be their first new tunes as a band in a decade.
Let’s have a look back at one of their lesser-known tracks:

Maybe the two could combine their comebacks into one giant supergroup? ALLCORRS. ALLTHECORRSAINTS. OK, we’re still working on the name.
