Eva Longoria has given us the inside scoop in her new movie Christmas Karma – co-starring none other than former Attitude cover stars Billy Porter and Boy George!

The trio play the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, respectively, in the Bollywood-inspired musical also featuring Kunal Nayyar, Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Danny Dyer and Hugh Bonneville.

Desperate Housewives legend Eva describes the flick as a “modern take on a Christmas classic from Charles Dickens through the lens of [Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging] director Gurinder Chadha – a brilliant storyteller. Only she could have made this movie. The themes remain relevant today.”

“I didn’t get Boy George’s number – I think he thought I was a stalker!” – Christmas Karma‘s Eva Longoria

Asked why the gays will love the comedy-drama, the star cackled: “Because Billy Porter’s in it! Boy George! It’s a musical! You know, any community that’s been marginalised will look at this as a rainbow of freshness.

“Myself, I’m the Ghost of Christmas Past, [who’s] Mexican. Billy’s the Ghost of Christmas Present and Boy George, Ghost of Christmas Future. Kunal [as Mr. Sood, a character inspired by Scrooge] at the centre of it all as an immigrant.”

The 50-year-old tells us she now has Pose icon Billy’s number. “I didn’t get Boy George’s,” she added. “I think he thought I was a stalker!”

Asked for her favourite Christmas-themed movies, Eva chose “A Miracle on 34th Street, The Holiday, and Elf… I watch all of them every Christmas.”

Eva’s full interview will appear in the next print edition of Attitude – issue 368 – available in shops, to order online, on Apple News+ and our app from 11 December 2025.

Christmas Karma hits UK cinemas today, Friday 14 November 2025.
