Alfie Watts, winner of series four of Race Across the World, has come out as bisexual in a candid social media post.

Watts, who won the BBC One show in 2024 alongside his friend Owen Wood, said he was terrified to speak publicly about his sexuality, but eventually plucked up the courage to come out online.

“Hi, I’m Alfie. This is scary, but let’s do a reintroduction,” he captioned the Instagram post, sharing a series of photos alongside a poignant message to his followers.
