Enrique Iglesias is currently preparing to release his landmark tenth studio album Sex + Love in March. It’s also the second bilingual effort from the Spanish-American singer, who made his first appearance on the UK charts back in 1999.

In the 15 years that have passed since Bailamos gave him his first top ten hit, Enrique has racked up another eight top ten hits, and collaborated with the likes of Whitney, Lionel Ritchie and Kelis.

As we count down the days Sex + Love, which features his new single I’m A Freak, we decided to take a look back at Enrique’s hit-filled back catalogue. You can take a listen to a few of Attitude’s favourites below:

Bailamos (1999)

Enrique may have been enjoying chart success on the Spanish and Latin American charts since the mid-’90s, but it was 1999’s Bailamos that saw him first make an impact in the UK. Oh, and did we mention that Enrique sports a pair of very snug-fitting leather trousers in the video?

Could I Have This Kiss Forever with Whitney Houston (2000)

It might not be the first track that springs to mind when thinking of Enrique’s greatest hits, but this Whitney duet will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Hero (2001)

It spent a month at the top of the charts and remains Enrique’s biggest hit in the UK. It may have appeared on one too many soppy compilation albums, but who doesn’t want Enrique to kiss away their pain after listening to Hero?

Escape (2002)

“You can run, you can hide but you can’t escape my love,” Enrique warns on the title track of his 2001 album. There’s a bit of a sinister undertone there, but Escape is an amazing pop song, and we love it.

Not in Love featuring Kelis (2004)

On paper Enrique and Kelis might not sound like the most likely of duet partners, but their 2004 collaboration on Not in Love proved otherwise – it’s a bit of a banger.

Tired of Being Sorry (2007)

We’re not entirely sure why this song only just managed to scrape into the UK Top 20. Tired of Being Sorry, in our opinion, is one of Enrique’s best. We love his Latin flavour.

I Like It featuring Pitbull (2010)

Enrique has teamed up with Pitbull most recently for new single I’m A Freak, but their first collaboration on I Like It remains the best. The sampling of Lionel Richie’s “Party, Karamu, Fiesta, Forever” from All Night Long is amazing.
