Tom Daley announced as Superdrug’s Male Grooming Ambassador

Last week Olympic diver Tom Daley, who will be having his own documentary, has been announced as Superdrug’s Male Grooming Ambassador and has become the first male celebrity to front their campaign.

Superdrug have teamed up with Gillette to launch their new razor subscription service. Customer who sign up to the new service will receive regular product supplies to their door and will even get 15% off Venus and Gillette razor blades.

Tom Daley said, “I’m delighted to be chosen as Superdrug’s Male Grooming Ambassador. Being in and out of water means that I have to take my grooming regime seriously to ensure that my skin and hair don’t suffer. I’ve got a busy summer ahead and it’s services such as the subscription service which make it easier to look good.”

Superdrug’s buying director Simon Comins said, “The men’s grooming market continues to grow and we are delighted to be working with Tom this summer. Today’s British male wants products that work and partnering with such a well-known athlete underlines that when it comes to products for me, performance is everything.”

“Convenience is also incredibly important, which is why we believe our new Gillette razor subscription service will really help men keep on top of looking good.”
