‘Milkshake’ singer Kelis announces ‘intimate’ UK live dates

R&B star Kelis has announced a European tour featuring a trio of UK dates.
The Milkshake singer will be performing what she promises will be “intimate” shows in Manchester in February, and then in London and Brighton in May.
Last week, Kelis – who is a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef as well as a singer – released the music video for her buzz single Jerk Ribs. Click here to watch it.
Speaking about the song, she told Time: ”This song is the cornerstone of my album. So I wanted the video to look like my life, my love – back to the beginning.”
Jerk Ribs is taken from her forthcoming album FOOD, which will be released in the UK on April 21. A week before, on April 14, Kelis will release the album’s official lead single Rumble.
