M.I.A. launches H&M Recycle Week with special performance

By Nick Byam

Last night saw the launch of H&M Recycle week, at their flagship London store, and they marked it with a special performance by superstar M.I.A.

Here at Attitude HQ we were living and dying for M.I.A’s performance of her iconic hits ‘Paper Planes’ and ‘Bad Girls’, alongside the exclusive campaign track ‘Rewear It’.

This latest musical offering was written by M.I.A to inspire customers to do their bit for World Recycle Week and donate their unwanted clothes. The star’s personal style and passion for the environment and sustainability makes her the ideal conscious consumer, and here’s hoping she keeps shining her light for all us fashion fiends.

M.I.A. RECYCLE

World Recycle Week will run from April 18-24, and during the campaign H&M hope to collect 1,000 tonnes of unwanted garments from across 3,600 stores. So it’s time to rummage through your wardrobes and dig out the unwanted underwear and sheer crop tops, and help make the environment a greener, cleaner and safer place to live in.

Find out where you can send your recyclable items on the H&M website.
