Lorde has announced a one-off gig in London this June – only her second ever live show in the UK.

The Royals singer will take to the stage at the O2 Academy Brixton on June 6.

Tickets for the gig will go on sale at 9am this Friday (April 25) and cost £26 each.

The announcement comes just a day after Lorde was forced to postpone string of dates in Australia citing “ill health” (April 22).

Writing on Twitter, the 17-year-old New Zealander said: “in case you missed the announcement earlier, i have had to postpone my australian shows because of a nasty chest infection and general ill health.

“i am so so gutted to have to do this but my parents and my team stepped in telling me i needed a break after being non-stop since the grammys in january. [sic]”

Lorde released her debut album Pure Heroine last year. It reached number four on the UK’s Official Albums Chart.
