Little Mix to release the official Sport Relief single

Little Mix have released the music video for their cover of Word Up.

The X Factor girl group are releasing the track as the official single for this year’s Sport Relief campaign.

The video features cameo appearances from Olympian Victoria Pendleton, Nick Grimshaw and Melanie C, as well as the London Wasps rugby team and choreographer Arlene Philips.

Jesy Nelson said that the video shoot was “absolutely amazing” as it had given them the opportunity to meet “some really cool people”.

“We feel so privileged that we’ve been able to have fun and make this amazing video and raise money at the same time,” she added.

The single, a cover of Cameo’s 1986 hit, is available to pre-order now and will be available to download from March 16. The CD single will be available exclusively in Sainsbury’s from March 17.
