H&M Modern Essentials, selected by David Beckham

By Joseph Kocharian

Our favourite ex-footballer turned fashion guru, David Beckham, is at it again collaborating once more with H&M on not one but two projects.

David is going to edit his favourite pieces from the Modern Essentials Collection at H&M to create ‘Modern Essentials- selected by David Beckham’  He’s curated a capsule of clothing with modern updates on the menswear wardrobe with new fits, colour and fabrics, including linen bomber jackets and blazers and polo shirts and white poplin shirts. There is plenty of wearable pieces with stylish nuances chosen by both H&M and Becks that you can update your wardrobe with.

David said  ”I am thrilled to continue and extend my collaboration with H&M by selecting my favourite pieces from this Spring’s Modern Essentials collection. Each piece is a new wardrobe classic that will update every man’s spring wardrobe with great style. Marc Forster is one of my favourite directors – I can’t wait to reveal the new campaign with H&M,”

Here’s some shots from director Marc Forster of Becks in all his glory:

The collection will be available on the 5th March 2015. David is also doing another Bodywear collection, full of lounge wear pieces such as Henleys, crewnecks and jersey vests in navy blue, grey, white and accents of orange and stripes, which we have been a fan off ever since their inaugural collection. With a behind the scenes video to look at too, there’s almost too much Becks to look at (that’s a lie there is never enough.)
