’90s pop sensation to appear at Peter Tatchell Foundation’s ‘Africa Extravaganza Fundraiser’

Mark your calendars: On Thursday 13th October from 7pm until late, award-winning African-themed bar and restaurant Shaka Zulu is set to host an ‘African Extravaganza‘ with the aim of raising money and awareness for the African human rights work of the Peter Tatchell Foundation.
20-foot African statues will watch over the proceedings, while the mezzanine floor is the perfect setting for the included drinks reception and canapés, followed by a three-course meal and a live performance from 90’s pop sensation Angie Brown of BIZARRE INC.
Live entertainment will transport guest to paradise as fire-breathers, acrobats and trapeze artists descend with a license to thrill inside the heart of Camden at the ‘London Bar Awards Best Interior’ winner 2015 (we can see why).
“This event gives our supporters an opportunity to contribute and have fun at the same time,” says Tatchell. “They will be aiding our assistance to refugees from Africa and our work on democracy and human rights in countries such as Uganda, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Nigeria, Somaliland and the Western Sahara”.
With a campaigning history spanning 49 years involving fighting for human rights, democracy, LGBT freedom and global justice, the Africa Extravaganza will aid work done by the Peter Tatchell Foundation to publicise and support human and LGBT rights in Africa.
