It’s May and that means it’s that time of year again – the Met Gala.
All manner of stars and icons turned out for the annual invitation-only party in New York City on Monday (1 May). The event serves as a fundraiser for the city’s Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year’s Met Gala theme was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ and paid tribute to the late designer. Lagerfeld, who died in 2019, had an illustrious career changing the fortunes of both Chanel and Fendi.
The event is also a feast for the eyes as we observe how attendees interpret the theme. We’re still thinking about 2019’s camp theme!
