Connor Storrie reportedly in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Ghost Rider

Connor Storrie has been tipped to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Shawn Levy’s Ghost Rider, alongside Ryan Gosling.

The 26-year-old Heated Rivalry star is reportedly being considered for a villain role in the film, scheduled for theatrical release in 2028.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gosling is presumed to be playing Johnny Blaze, although Marvel has yet to confirm his character.

In Marvel Comics, Blaze is a stunt motorcyclist who makes a deal with the devil and becomes bonded with the soul-sucking demon Zarathos, transforming into the flame-skulled anti-hero Ghost Rider.

Possible Ghost Rider villains for Connor Storrie to play

Storrie’s character in Ghost Rider has yet to be announced, although Entertainment Weekly reports that he is being considered for a villain role.

Ghost Rider’s comic-book enemies include the ab-bearing demonic villain Blackheart, Blackheart’s red-skinned supervillain father Mephisto, and the masked crime boss Deathwatch, who possesses psychic abilities.

Zarathos is also considered a villain in the franchise, although his relationship with Ghost Rider is complex.

Filming for Ghost Rider

The Ghost Rider film is being directed by Levy and written by Jonathan Tropper with filming expected to begin in New York in 2027.

The reported casting comes after Storrie’s rise to fame following the release of gay hockey series Heated Rivalry, in which he co-stars alongside Hudson Williams.

Heated Rivalry has been such a success that it has been renewed for a second season, with Storrie and Williams among the returning cast.
