Rain showers are expected throughout the day at Pride in London this Saturday (June 28).

Temperatures in central London will peak at around 19-20C on Saturday – several degrees cooler than earlier in the week, a Met Office spokesperson told attitude.co.uk earlier today (June 25).

At present, it is hard to pinpoint exactly when the showers will fall in central London on Saturday, but they could be “short, sharp and frequent” and some could be “fairly heavy”.

Revellers attending Pride in London should prepare for wetter weather, the Met Office advises, but those participating in the annual parade should obviously be careful when raising their umbrellas.

Check back on attitude.co.uk on Friday (June 27) for a more detailed weather forecast for Pride in London the following day.

Pride in London takes place this Saturday (June 28) with Eurovision champion Conchita Wurst headlining on the main stage in Trafalgar Square in central London.

Meanwhile, comeback queen Sinitta will debut her new single – a cover of her mother Miquel Brown’s classic disco hit So Many Men, So Little Time – at the event. Click here to find out more about Sinitta’s pop comeback.

The annual Pride parade will depart from Baker Street at 1pm on June 28 – the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
