Red Arrows at Brighton Pride Festival

Penny Mordaunt, the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, has announced that the red Arrows are to fly over Brighton Pride Festival.

Mordaunt spoke at the Out and Proud launch event in London, saying “I can offer you a bit of an exclusive tonight. If they would like it, Brighton Pride will have been offered the Red Arrows to fly over the city.”

She continued, “It’s important, the progress that we’ve made in the armed forces on the LGBT agenda.”

If the Red Arrows are to go ahead it would be the first time in Pride history that they’ve flown over a parade.

Brighton Pride Festival is set for August 6.
