PC game that urges players to kill gay people pulled from download service

By Josh Haggis

A game that requires players to kill gay people has been pulled from download service Steam.

The game, called Kill the Faggot, demands players murder as many gay and transgender people as possible within a set time limit, all whilst dodging straight people.

It was made available for download on Steam Greenlight, which allows games approved by users of the service to be made available without being approved.

“Hate gays ? Want to unleash your frustration with the ‘LGBT’ community? Well now is your chance. Murder gays and transgenders, while avoiding killing straight people. Get as many points before time runs out!”

Following an outpouring of criticism from users of the service, the game is no longer available to download. However the developer, Skaldic Games, still has the game available for free on its website.

The company say the game was created “just to piss off those people that are way too overly sensitive,” and added: “Keep sending all the threats and hate mail though, its a fun read, and proves you have no time on your hands.”
