New dating site for Trump supporters bans gay users
The site only allows users to register as a straight man or woman
A new dating site for Trump supporters doesn’t allow gay members to join.
The dating site, which promises to “make dating great again” and tells users to “Find the American first partner of your dreams”, only allows users to register as a straight man or straight woman.
Trump.Dating asks users to list their marital status with options including single, separated, widowed, an open relationship, a significant other and – get this – happily or unhappily married. Because the straights aren’t ruining the sanctity of marriage enough as is? We can’t.
Sean McGrossier, founder of the dating site, said: “Every Trump supporter in America right now knows how hostile the political climate is, forced to hide our-loud-and-proud support for the president in colleges, restaurants, chatrooms and more.
“With Trump.Dating, users don’t have to skirt around the awkward Trump question. They already know.”
He added: “This is the first modern, functional dating site designed by Trump supporters, for Trump supporters. Users can rest assured every person they are talking to is behind the president, with red, white, and blue blood that flows for America each and everyday.”
A description on the site reads: “While searching for a potential partner on other dating sites, it’s not uncommon to see messages like No Trump supporters or Proud Liberal.”
“We’re wrecking the dating game and giving like-minded Americans a chance to meet without the awkwardness that comes with first conversations about politics. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to already know that your date roots for the same team?”
