Little Mix to release the official Sport Relief single

Little Mix will release this year’s official Sport Relief single.

The Move group have recorded a cover of Cameo’s 1986 single Word Up in support of the fundraising campaign.

The track is now available to pre-order on iTunes, with a release scheduled for March 16. The CD single will be available exclusively in Sainsbury’s supermarkets from March 17.

Band member Perrie Edwards said: “We’ve all seen people push themselves and do incredible things for Sport Relief so it’s a dream come true to be releasing the official single this year. We can’t wait for you all to hear it!”

“We are so happy to be part of Sport Relief and want to help raise as much cash as possible for some truly amazing causes,” Jade Thirlwall added.

Sport Relief 2014 will take place from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23.
