Hillary Clinton is set to meet with AIDS activists in New York City to discuss her agenda on AIDS issues.

Out reports that activist Peter Staley has said that Clinton accepted an invitation to meet with AIDS activists in a response to a letter asking Clinton how she would “strengthen her program.”

In the responding letter by Maya Harris, she states that Clinton will be available to meet on May 13th to discuss the issues.

“As you know, the Secretary has fought for decades to combat HIV and AIDS, and she has included it as a priority issue in her campaign.”

“Secretary Clinton is delighted to accept your invitation and is available to meet on May 13th in New York City to discuss how we can build on this agenda.”

Maya ends the letter by by thanking Saley and the other AIDS activists.

“On behalf of Secretary Clinton and everyone at Hillary for America, thank you for your leadership in helping to organise this meeting.”

Earlier this week, Clinton released a new campaign video that criticised LGBT discrimination.
