Celebrities help raise over £75,000 for the Terrence Higgins Trust at their annual Supper Club

Tuesday night (November 1) saw celebrities including Darcey Bussell, Sam Callahan and Tim Vincent raise over £75,000 for the Terrence Higgins Trust to support people living with and affected by HIV at their annual Supper Club.

They joined 30 top London restaurants including MARCUS, the two Michelin starred restaurant overseen by Marcus Wareing, Frenchie, Roux at The Landau, and Café Murano, headed up by Angela Hartnett, for an evening of simultaneous fine dining experiences across the capital.

Guests then partied late into the night at cabaret and burlesque club, Café de Paris, where Miss Hope Springs, towering blonde alter ego of composer, lyricist and pianist Ty Jeffries performed drag and cabaret act.
The money raised from the Supper Club means Terrence Higgins Trust can campaign for, and deliver effective HIV testing and prevention. With 1 in 6 unaware that they have HIV, prevention and awareness has never been more important.
Sonya Trivedy, Director of Fundraising at Terrence Higgins Trust, said: “This years Supper Club has been another fantastic success thanks to the generosity and kindness of our supporters and all of the restaurants who hosted a table.
“The money raised during this truly unique dinning experience, will support our vital work tackling the HIV epidemic and ensuring people living with and effected by HIV live well.”
