Caitlyn Jenner ‘didn’t trust’ the Kardashians not to leak news of her transition to the press

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed she didn’t tell the Kardashians about her gender transition out of fear they’d leak it to the press.
The former reality show star made an appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories this week and discussed her relationship with the Kardashians following the release of her book The Secrets Of My Life.
Jenner has been involved in a feud with Kris and stepdaughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe since the couple split shortly before Jenner’s transition.
Now, the 68-year-old has revealed that she sent the Kardashians an edited version of her book, purposely leaving out the segment about her transition.
After revealing the news, Morgan asked her: “They didn’t know that you had actually had the surgery?”
She said: “No I didn’t tell anybody. Why? It’s none of their business. It’s not that big a deal. Nobody knows. I had to be honest, the book is about honesty. It’s called The Secrets Of My Life. No it really wasn’t a big deal.”
She continued: “I had already been living as Caitlyn for a year and a half, ok, nobody knows anything. Because I didn’t want them to leak it to the press. There was no reason for them to know about it.”
When asked if she didn’t trust the Kardashian family, Jenner said she didn’t: “Of course not – of course I didn’t trust them.”
In the same interview, Jenner slammed Morgan after he pulled out a Bruce Jenner Olympic figurine and asked her how her “physique” had changed since her transition.
“See you made a comment there and that is why you would get in trouble,” an angry Jenner said. “You just said, ‘Certain areas?’ That, to a trans person, is disrespectful.”
She continued: “It is not funny. it is life. It is a very serious part of my life. I take that very seriously and so out of respect to myself and the community it is not something that you joke about. It is something as I said before… this is serious. You can die over this issue.”
The I Am Cait star also revealed that she had dealt with a lot of intense “pain” in her life, leading her to consider suicide.
“I thought about suicide,” Jenner revealed. “That is the easy way out. That is how long you can get. Sometimes people do succeed in that and I thought, ‘How stupid is that?’ I don’t want my voice to be silenced.”
She added: “I want my voice to be heard. And I want to see if I can make a difference.”
