Brazilian model dies after collapsing on the catwalk during Sao Paulo Fashion Week

A Brazilian model tragically died after collapsing on the catwalk during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

Tales Soares – who was also known by his stage name Tales Cotta – was walking down the catwalk on Saturday (April 27) when he collapsed.

Paramedics rushed over to treat the 26 year old in front of the crowd, who reportedly believed it was part of his act, but when he started foaming at the mouth, it was clear he was in a serious condition.

Folloiwng his death, shocking footage of his collapse circulated around social media.

It has yet to be confirmed how the young model – who regularly demonstrated his support for the LGBTQ community on social media – died.

Writing on Instagram, the organisers of the fashion week wrote: “May God welcome you with open arms! Life is definitely a catwalk, we’re just passing through! Very sad!”
