A memorial to the gay victims of the Nazis has been vandalised in Berlin.

The concrete memorial in Tiergarten Park, in the German capital, is situated near to the Holocaust memorial, which is dedicated to all the victims of the Nazis regime.

The memorial features a window which visitors can look and view a video of a same-sex couple kissing, according to The Tribune.

However, police have reported that overnight the window had been painted over in an alleged homophobic attack.

Currently there are no suspects and police wouldn’t confirm if there was surveillance video of the crime.
