Bobby Norris unveils results of his mind, body and soul transformation – here’s how he did it

In partnership with The Six Pack Revolution.

By Will Stroude

Just as the world was entering the deepest, darkest days of lockdown early this spring, reality TV star Bobby Norris decided it was time for a bit of a change in his life.

A self-confessed gym-o-phobe, he always thought fitness was for other people, saying “I’ve never had a great relationship with exercise, sport or body image”.

And, like many LGBTQ+ people, the feelings began years ago: “It started at school and, like a lot of men, it is one part of my life that I lack confidence in. For guys, fitness is often associated to perceptions of their own masculinity. I was always skinny, and I think being gay added to my feelings and the challenges in my head”.

The first step was drumming up the courage to reach out for help. “I’d heard of Scott Harrison from The Six Pack Revolution from stories in the press and online and I just messaged him on social media. I think the pandemic made me realise that we only live once… and that it was looking like we may have time on our hands! So why not use it productively”.

And so began a 75 day journey that was to see Bobby totally change his diet, his attitude to fitness, elevate his confidence and boost his mental wellbeing in ways he never knew was possible. “I have never felt so happy” the TOWIE favourite said, “It’s not just the way I look – the real success to me is how I feel. I’m so energised and confident. I’ve been feeding my body the best diet there is, and my body is thanking me for it. Health, happiness and fitness is for everyone.”

So, how did he do it?

Bobby before embarking on his new regime with The Six Pack Revolution

Bobby was, by his own admission, rather on the thin side; not eating properly and finding it difficult to put on weight. Add in the party lifestyle and stress from being targeted daily by online trolls; it added up to a fairly unhealthy lifestyle and mental health struggles which Bobby has often shared on social media and in the press.

Going through the 75 day programme allowed him to change his relationship with food and build on his physical and mental strength. As Bobby was underweight and lacked muscle mass it was important that Scott focused on making him physically stronger through an intense fitness routine. Bobby also needed to change his eating habits, so Scott’s mission was to teach him about nutrition and how to fuel his body correctly.

The Coach

The Six Pack Revolution is a finely tuned fitness, nutrition and personal development programme guaranteed to get you extreme results in 75 days, founded by Scott Harrison.

Scott’s fitness journey began following his own battles with poor mental wellbeing. It was after several personal setbacks that Scott decided to take back control and do something positive.  Scott educated himself on nutrition, discovering a way of fuelling the body that had scientifically been proven to get the most outstanding results.

Following a strict plan of results driven healthy eating and exercise, Scott documented his journey on Facebook, engaging his friends and followers and in the end, 36 people joined him on his fitness journey.  Using his new-found knowledge, Scott was extremely strict on the group to ensure that everyone got the best results. The 90 days (as it was then) came to an end and Scott and his friends were all looking and feeling fantastic. Through word of mouth and Facebook friends, Scott was in demand to lead another 90-day plan and this time he had an impressive 120 people joining him.

With a new lease of life and a dream to reach even more people with his plan, he completed a level 3 PT qualification, fitness diploma with distinction and various other courses including; nutrition, food intolerances, diabetes, psychology and yoga.  Using his academic knowledge and personal experience he began to perfect his plan, now known as The Six Pack Revolution, which officially launched in September 2016.  The programme is now reaching and improving the lives of tens of thousands of people in 48 countries around the world.

Participants are told exactly what to eat and drink each day with an abundance of recipes, must complete an exercise regime and are held accountable by The Six Pack Revolution team of coaches.  The exercises are short but highly effective, taking 10-15 minutes per day and with two sessions of 30 minutes a week.  All participants must also follow a strict plan created by Scott involving eating carefully mapped out meals and snacks six times a day.

The Plan

Scott spent some time with Bobby to understand the drivers behind Bobby wanting to make a change, obstacles to overcome and goals to meet. This allowed Scott to then tweak the plan to design a personalised programme that would transform Bobby in his final 5 weeks.

Thirteen 1:1 Sessions

Each 1:1 training session was a 75-minute intense workout using a mixture of weights, boxing and battle ropes to create core strength and clear muscle definition in both the upper and lower body. A little mindfulness coaching was also included to foster mental calmness, clarity and self-acceptance.

Scott used his unique fitness and nutrition system to ensure Bobby gained muscle without gaining fat and kept cardio to a minimum. From the start, Bobby turned up with the right attitude.  He took everything on board and worked extremely hard in each session and results started to show immediately due to his clear focus and determination. Scott also devised a daily 20-minute abs routine incorporating plank exercises, abdominal crunches and core strengthening exercises to create muscle activation.

The Food

The Six Pack Revolution nutrition plan creates balance for the body.  Each recipe, created by Scott, categorises the ingredients into 3 macronutrients:

1. Protein

2. Carbohydrates

3. Healthy fats

Each recipe, whether it’s a snack or meal, has the right macronutrients to provide balance to the body and the mind.

Scott needed to extend The Six Pack Revolution nutrition plan further to support Bobby’s aim of a true body transformation.

Bobby’s daily meal plan consisted of:

1. Four balanced meals a day using recipes from Scott’s recipe book Eat Your Way to a Six Pack but doubling the amount of carbohydrates and protein within each recipe for each meal.

2. Two meal replacement smoothies which included 1/2 a serving of a post workout smoothie.

3. One post workout smoothie.

4. Two balanced snacks from The Six Pack Revolution programme included within Scott’s recipe book.

5. Bobby drank 4 litres of water to stay hydrated, spread throughout the day to improve cardiovascular health and allow the joints and muscles to work better.

Scott coached Bobby on a 1:1 basis for the final 5 weeks, guiding and motivating him through a detailed nutrition, exercise, and mindset plan. The results are incredible and show how you can achieve mind-blowing results and change your life if you are willing to dedicate and trust a programme that works.

A final word from Scott

“Setting goals to achieve optimum health and happiness allows you to focus on positive changes. You should think of health and happiness as a by-product of living an engaged and successful life. I’ve really loved working with Bobby, he’s an amazing person and deserves to be the happy, confident and healthy man he has become.

Scott from The Six Pack Revolution

“We all deserve it. Lots of men are so unconfident and unhappy, and there’s so many different reasons behind it. The Six Pack Revolution isn’t really just about how you look, the main reason I do it is because it creates such a balanced happiness in all my participants.”
