Whether you’re traveling alone or with your partner, few factors are important to be taken into consideration when you’re choosing your next travel destination.

Is the local LGBTQ community accepted? What’s the gay nightlife like? How comfortable is the public for gay couples showing affection in public? Finally, are there Pride events or other gay events in the city?

Based on these factors we have made a list of the top gay-friendly cities you should visit on your next trip.

Berlin – Germany

Berlin has an epic gay nightlife from awesome bars like SchwuZ, SilverFuture to gay bathhouses and the famous super-exclusive Berghain gay club. You can definitely have a good time in Berlin, even if you don’t like clubbing.

If you’re visiting Berlin in the summer, make sure to visit the Folsom Europe fair and the Lesbian and Gay City Festival that takes place every June.

It’s the largest street party of this kind in Europe and is being held in traditional gay areas around Nollndorfplatz in Schoenberg.

Las Vegas – USA

You will find an amazing LGBTQ scene in Las Vegas. You can choose from gay-friendly casinos, LGBT pool parties, hipster bars and a welcoming community for everyone.

If you like to gamble, then you should visit The Cosmopolitan casino and hotel. It might be the most gay-friendly casino in Vegas and it also has a delicious Tapas restaurant and a unique Chandelier Bar.

If you’re looking to get away from the crowd there’s wonderful room service and you can always play casino.

While you’re in Las Vegas you should go to the Temptation Sundays at the Luxor. It’s the longest-running pool party in the city and you will have fun in a relaxed atmosphere with great music and friendly people.

Amsterdam- The Netherlands

Amsterdam became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage in 2000.

The city is famous around the world for its annual Canal Parade. It’s one of the largest gay and pride events in the world and you will participate with half-million spectators in a memorable event where 80 decorated boats sail along the Prinsengracht.

This event demonstrates and celebrates the diversity of Holland’s gay and lesbian community. On the other hand, there’s no shortage of cafés, gay clubs, and bars in the city.

San Francisco – USA
