The best travel tech has come a long way from portable chargers and universal adaptor plugs.
Whether you’re trying to sleep through a noisy resort, document a trip without lugging a camera bag, or simply stay connected across multiple borders, the right kit makes a huge difference to how you travel.
Here’s our guide to the best tech gadgets for your next getaway.
Holafly e-SIM

Staying connected while travelling is no longer optional, and while most e-SIMs are country-specific, Holafly’s global plan covers over 200 destinations and maintains your signal as you cross borders. The unlimited plan (£50.95 per month) removes any need to monitor data use, while the light plan offers 25GB per month (£38.95). Both work across devices, support hotspot use, and come with 24/7 customer support and the freedom to cancel at any time.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 (from £429) is the latest iteration of DJI’s compact camera line, favoured by content creators for footage that a phone simply can’t replicate. A three-axis gimbal handles stabilisation, low-light performance is strong, and the whole thing slips into a jacket pocket. The companion app lets you edit and share clips on the move, and an optional magnetic fill light is worth adding for darker venues or evening shoots.
Sony WH-1000XM6

Sony’s flagship over-ear headphones have long set the benchmark for noise cancellation, and the XM6 (£399) raises it again. The foldable design makes them easy to pack, battery life reaches 40 hours, and five minutes on USB-C gets around three hours of use – useful when you’re rushing between connections. They sound exceptional, block out almost everything, and the Sand Pink colourway, in a matt finish, is Attitude’s personal favourite…
Sans self-cleaning water bottle

Sans, the air and water purification brand, has turned its attention to the reusable bottle with a design that eliminates 99.9 per cent of bio-contaminants at the touch of a button. UV-C light technology built into the lid breaks down the DNA of bacteria including E. coli, addressing the buildup that accumulates in standard containers over time. The 500ml stainless steel bottle has double-wall vacuum insulation keeping drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 12, comes in black or white with a silicone exterior and carry loop, and holds a charge for up to 10 days.
Shark ChillPill

A significant upgrade on the generic hand fans that appear every summer, the ChillPill (£129.99) comes with three interchangeable attachments: a high-speed fan, an evaporative misting pod, and a cooling plate that reduces skin temperature by up to 9°C on contact. Turned on its side, it functions as a desk fan. Battery life runs to 11 hours on the lowest fan setting, and ICAO compliance means it qualifies as carry-on luggage.
Soundcore Sleep A30

Sleep earbuds designed to block out noise rather than pipe in music, and the A30 (£199 – currently £138.99 with a coupon at time of writing) are worth packing if you’re booked into a noisy resort or heading to a festival where the music carries through the night (or have a snoring bedfellow…). Active noise cancellation, passive isolation, and adaptive snore-masking work together to dial down whatever the environment throws at you, while a built-in sound library includes soothing ambient sounds such as rainfall or aeroplane cabin noise, with no subscription needed. At 3g per earbud with a flat profile, they’re comfortable enough for side sleepers too.
Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 Portable Power Station

For camping trips, festival weekends, and staycations away from the mains, the Explorer 2000 V2 (£1,399 – currently on offer at £849.00 at time of writing) takes the stress out of keeping everything charged. It’s powerful enough to run practically anything you’d use at home – hairdryers, laptops, cool boxes, and yes, even an air fryer – across six outlets simultaneously, including two three-pin sockets. Despite that capacity, it’s the lightest and most compact unit in its class, and bundles with solar panels are available if you want to leave it topping up in the sun while you get on with your day.
MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Table Air Circulator

A full-sized fan that runs on battery (or can also be plugged into mains), the Sefte Pro (£119.99) solves a problem anyone who’s camped in a heatwave will recognise. It circulates air up to 32 metres, runs for up to 40 hours on a single charge, and at 25dB on its lowest setting it’s quiet enough to sleep next to.
