Sam Salter: Go behind the scenes of the ‘Swan Lake’ star’s Attitude cover shoot – WATCH

The 25-year-old ballet dancer is en pointe in our July issue.

By Will Stroude

It’s Friday, and what better way to celebrate the end of the week than with some exclusive eye candy from our recent cover shoot with Swan Lake star Sam Salter.

The 25-year-old dancer, who’s currently starring in the latest revival of Matthew Bourne’s famed queer production of the classic ballet, took to the camera like a duck to water as Attitude jetted off to Belmond Reid’s Palace in Madeira for a sun-soaked shoot.

Sam, who candidly opens up about his sexuality about sobriety in our July issue – available to download and to order globally now – says that starring Bourne’s production is “ever male dancer’s dream”.

“When [his] Swan Lake came out in 1995, it changed things by adding the gay love story,” Sam says. “There were gasps and shock in the audience.

“He’s changed a lot of things in the dance world.”

See Sam’s shoot and read the full interview in Attitude’s July issue – out now.
