London Pride Festival is now the biggest in the world with more than 100 events happening over the month
Applications for events ideas can be submitted until May 31

More than 100 different events will be taking place at this year’s London Pride Festival making it the world’s largest LGBT festival.
Having doubled in size in just three years, the annual Pride Festival kicks off on June 9 and runs for a month until parade day of July 7.
At an event this week, Mzz Kimberley revealed the festival – now the largest in the world – will be hosting a variety of entertaining, thought-provoking, social and engaging events with performances to be held in venues around the capital showing the diverse talents of the LGBT+ community.
Simon Jones, events director of Pride in London, said: “We are thrilled to now be the world’s largest LGBT+ festival, with more than 100 events being programmed for our third year running.
“Expect creative, sporty, thought-provoking, entertaining, and awareness-raising happenings throughout the capital from June 9 to July 7.
“We hope to delight London, with a Pride Festival that is curated with everyone in mind and has given opportunity for all interested to submit proposals up until May 31.”
Now, submissions for event proposals are open until May 31, and all should be put through the website.
Some already include comedy improv, a binge-watching film evening, a Great Gatsby-themed party, cabaret, theatre, music, business networking, socials, fitness boot camps, a self-defence workshop, yoga and Morris Dancing.
Ping pong, bowling, puzzle games, museum events, talks, walks and many more have already been submitted.
Two event highlights include The Science Museum’s Sexuality Late taking place on June 27 and a show at Underbelly Southbank Rising Stars on July 2.
