After performing at Glastonbury with Miley Cryus’ dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, the American rapper took to Twitter to post a video for his new song ‘C7osure (You Like)’ calling for people to listen carefully to the lyrics.

He wrote: “Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more.

“But before this month ends I want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.”

In his new song, Lil Nas X discusses wanting to be ‘free’ and ‘crossing boundaries’ and he sings: “True say, I want and need, to let go, use my time to be free / it’s like it’s always what you like, it’s always what you like / why it’s always what you like?”

He later sings: “Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow” and “This is what I gotta do, can’t be regrettin’ when I’m old.”

Further alluding to his sexuality, he also tweeted out artwork for the single which features a city skyline with rainbow colours hinting towards the LGBTQ Pride flag.

He then captioned the tweet: “Deadass thought I made it obvious.”
