Talk about thirst traps! Gus Kenworthy stars in a short but sweet commercial for Cann Social Tonics’ cannabis-infused soft drinks that has us thirsting for more than just a refreshing beverage.

The ad sees the Olympic skier, 29, arm-wrestling over Cann’s latest range with singer-model Ken XY in just their underwear.

Gus and Ken XY stare at one another as they firmly clasp hands before Gus gently kisses Ken XY’s hand and breaking the pair’s concentration. And while that’s probably against the rules of arm-wrestling, frankly we’ll allow it.

Cann captioned the visual masterpiece on Instagram: “well hello there hi boys”. Indeed.

Thankfully, the advert is just a teaser for a longer advert, and if this what we get here, we can’t wait to see the rest of it.

Not wanting to completely forget the ad’s “actual” purpose, Cann’s “Hello Boy Experience” line is available in July.

The former Attitude cover star recently opened up about his friendship with Colton Underwood, who came out in April. Soon after it was announced Gus would be serving as Colton’s guide in a new Netflix show called ‘Gay Guide’.

Speaking to OK! Magazine in June about a trip the pair took recently, Gus said: “Colton is a really sweet guy. I just wanted to try and help him make new friends, and my group of friends already had this trip to Provincetown planned.”I extended an invite to him, and he came for a few days — and it was fun for him, I think, to get to be around other gay people. I think he made a lot of new friends. I think he enjoyed himself.”

‘Gay Guide’ has attracted some controversy with a petition so far collecting more than 35,000 signatures calling for it to be cancelled. It follows reports Colton’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph filed a restraining order against him in 2020.

She alleged he stalked her and placed a tracking device on her car. She dropped the restraining order against him with prejudice two months later.

Addressing the matter in a recent interview with Variety, Colton said: “I did not physically touch or physically abuse Cassie in any way, shape or form. I never want people to think that I’m coming out to change the narrative, or to brush over and not take responsibility for my actions, and now that I have this gay life that I don’t have to address my past as a straight man.
