Attitude Music Award, supported by Jaguar: Charli XCX

She's written massive hits for major stars and rarely fails to surprise

By Will Stroude

Charli XCX has been honoured with Attitude’s Music Award at The Virgin Holidays Attitude Awards, powered by Jaguar.

The ‘Boys’, 25, singer was presented with the award by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw at the star-studded event at London’s Roundhouse on Thursday night (October 12).

She’s written massive hits for major stars, including the likes of Selena Gomez, Iggy Azalea and Camila Cabello to name a few. The rebellious queen makes music which rarely fails to surprise, and most importantly of all, she knows the debt she owes the queer community for her initial rise to success.

That’s why she’s been honoured with our Music Award.
