Who wants me?

Stream Publishing is an award-winning boutique publisher and content creator in print and digital forms, and an organiser of world class events. We are the owner of Attitude, the world’s biggest LGBTQ media brand and the UK’s best-selling gay title by some margin.

We are based in a beautiful, semi-rural location on the Surrey, Sussex, Kent borders – but it’s just 38 minutes from London Victoria by train, a 15-minute drive from the M25 (J6) and 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport. We enjoy a modern, creative (and air-conditioned) working environment that’s relaxed in approach but driven by opportunity.

What’s the role?

The Senior Sales Executive sells media space across print, online and social, as well as sponsorship and table sales for events, including the market-leading Attitude Awards.

You’ll manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, but will be expected to drive revenues from new business, too, as Attitude adds further to a roster that already includes household names the like of Virgin Atlantic, Jaguar, ClarinsMen, Belmond, Eurostar, Sky, United Airlines, Belstaff and many more.

The role reports to the Commercial Manager and demands telephone sales, the development of client relationships, face-to-face meetings and strong presentation skills.

What do I need?

You must have a talent for sales that’s evident on first sight. You’ll be confident, articulate, literate and full of enthusiasm and energy. You’ll have experience in media sales (a minimum of two to three years) with a track record that demonstrates we’re as lucky to find you as you are to find us.

And you’ll be ambitious – you’ll want to contribute to our business, carve your niche and grow into a key member of the team. We’ll nurture and develop you in return, but you must come as a self-starter ready to make your mark.

What’s the deal?

The basic salary is negotiable commensurate with experience and ability, think late £20s to early £30s basic, with OTE into the £40s and well beyond that, as commission is uncapped and generous in its rewarding success. You’ll get a share of everything you sell on an individual level even up to target, but when successful as part of a team the commission levels jump significantly.
