Wrabel releases debut album ‘these words are all for you’

Hailed as “one of the greatest singers and songwriters alive today” by P!NK, Wrabel prepares to step into the spotlight with his long-awaited debut album, these words are all for you.
In the making of his album, Wrabel repeatedly returned to a piece of advice he’s given many times over the course of his eclectic and colourful career.
“Whenever one of my friends is struggling, I always tell them: ‘You’re the only songwriter in the world,’” says the accomplished artist who’s penned hit songs for a litany of pop superstars and put out numerous EPs of his own material.
“With any creative person, it’s their unique perspective and experience and language that makes their art special. For a long time, I was so caught up in looking around at what everyone else was doing and comparing myself to them, but for this album, I just stayed in my own little world.
“And because of that, I ended up making the record I always wanted to make.”
A deeply personal body of work, these words are all for you centers on the warm vocal presence and introspective songwriting Wrabel first revealed on his 2014 breakthrough hit ‘Ten Feet Tall’.
On the way to creating his first full-length effort, he has delivered hit songs such as ’11 Blocks’; collaborated with leading dance artists like Kygo and Marshmello; released a live album, and has written for P!NK (’90 Days’), Kesha (‘Woman,’ ‘Here Comes the Change’), and Backstreet Boys (‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’), just to name a few.
His knife-to-the-heart style of songwriting has led Billboard to confidently state that he is “ready for his breakthrough,” and he’s been praised as “one of Hollywood’s finest songwriters for a decade” by American Songwriter.
He also earned a 2018 GLAAD Media Award nomination, was named in the 2017 OUT100, and joined P!NK on her 2019 European stadium tour.

Whether it’s on tracks like the uplifting ballad ‘good,’ the beautifully orchestrated ‘wish you well’ (about the tug of war of letting go of past loves), the achingly reminiscent and sonically vast ‘london,’ or the hauntingly sparse ‘don’t pick up the phone,’ these songs showcase what has made Wrabel a go-to for heart-shattering slice-of-life songwriting about finding love, losing it, and discovering oneself throughout the journey.
Wrabel’s debut album marks the glorious culmination of all he has accomplished thus far in his extraordinary and ever-evolving career. “This record is a collection of pages torn from my diary — stories and truths, like an autobiography of sorts of the past 8-10 years of my life,” he explained.
Delivering deeply personal, introspective lyrics with a warm vocal presence as he explores themes of love in all its forms: shattered love and self-love, compassion, and redemption. Wrabel hopes that his personal catharsis might ultimately provide solace to others.
“My biggest dream and my biggest hope for this record is that it would reach people and make them feel less alone. If they’re in love, that it would help celebrate that love; If they lost love, that it would be a shoulder to cry on.

Billboard has said of Wrabel that he is “primed for a major breakthrough, and you ought to be on board when he finally does,” while Wonderland described his debut album as “a display of pop mastery.”
