Watch trailer for new series of ‘Doctor Who’

The BBC has released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming eighth series of Doctor Who.
The minute-long trailer, which premiered during BBC One’s coverage of the World Cup final between Argentina and Germany earlier this evening (July 13), follows a pair of shorter teaser clips which you can watch here and here.
“Cara, tell me, am I a good man?” Peter Capaldi’s Doctor asks Jenna Coleman’s assistant, Clara Oswald, towards the end of the trailer – but the answer he gets probably isn’t the one he wants.
The new series will be the first with Capaldi as the Timelord, after Matt Smith’s Doctor regenerated into Capaldi’s Doctor in last year’s Christmas special.
Guest stars on the new series will include Frank Skinner, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Keeley Hawes, Hermione Norris, Ben Miller and up-and-coming British popstar Foxes.
The series eight premiere – titled ‘Deep Breath’ – will air on August 23 in both the UK and the US.
